he will be 17 when he gets here. Also red in the post above you have him coming this year. He is not. He will enroll in JAN and be ready to play for 2006.

This is how I see this playing out

Russel starts-2005, 2006 then goes pro
Flynn backs up-2005, 2006 then transfers(or maybe he beats out RP)
RP-RS 2005, backs up 2006 starts 2007(or if Flynn wins he Backs up) Rp has an ego but I think if he gets beat out he sticks it out.
Cade- RS-2006 then backs up till Rp is gone or some other hot shot recruit comes in.

I'm not sure he needs to put on more weight. At 6'1", 200 pounds is quite solid. If anything, he needs to grow a couple of inches.

6'1, 200 is just fine if not the tip-top of what he should be

perfectly fine for college. definitely an issue if he hasn't grown in 5 years for the NFL.

What the hell makes everyone think Russell is ready for the NFL. After being in college and under Jimbo for 2 years he could not read SEC defenses nor work through simple reciver progressions last fall. What did he show you last year that makes everyone think we have the next Culpepper on our hands?

I would not count Flynn out just yet.

tirk UN thought it was a package deal but I guess not. I think, not positive, that the RB committed to UN.

ok thanks I had skimmed over some article which mentioned it yet i didn't read it closely. I do think it was about the corncobs though I'll have to see if he committed alone.
