Uhm... no. Go read ESPN.com, there's an article about Petrino pulling out and towards the end of the interview they mention the Spurrier rumor and there's a direct quote saying its not him.
Spurrier Out Myles In SS told Columbia newspaper he IS NOT in the running for LSU job and SC is his last gig. Times Picayune reporting Les Myles is our next coach.

Before the game i spoke with a good friend who is on one of the Alumni buses at the game and he said "someone in the know" on the bus claimed the search committee has met with Visor boy twice and that he had not signed the USC contract yet. They did not mention Spurrier was in BR now. But they did say they thought it was plausible that we still could get him. My thought (for what it is worth) is that the coach the "deep pocketed boosters" want might not be the same coach Bertman wants. Just my $.02
ESPN quoted SS as saying that he isn't going to LSU bcause LSU has already won SEC's, divisions and the NC. He says SC is his last gig.
Uhm...read the thread. This is about a rumor that Steve Spurrier is currently in Baton Rouge interviewing for the LSU job. I guess I must have missed that part in the ESPN story.
