    I will guess Bobby Douglas.

I just remember that he was very fast for a QB, so that would make sense that he was possibly a WR earlier in this career. I just don't know if his career would have started that far back.

Actually now that I think of it, there is no way Douglas' career started that far back (mid 60s).

I will guess Billy Kilmer. I think he played other positions besides QB early in his career from what I remember.

During the 1983 season, the New Orleans Saints, led by Kenny Stabler, were seemingly on their way to their very first season to make the playoffs when on the very last play of the last game of the season, the opposing team converted a 42 yard field goal that went just inside the goal posts to devastate every last Saints fans' hearts.

    Who was the opponent?

    Who was the kicker?

What unbelievable play transpired that led to that FG?

Correct. Kilmer was with the 49ers at the time.

The Rams' Mike Lansford sunk us that day. I was watching from a 35-yard line luxury box. Don't remember what play you're talking about, unless you're referring to the fact that Bum elected to punt rather than allow Morton Andersen to try about a 50 yard FG to give us the lead, giving the Rams the ball to go on the game winning drive.

Well we already had the lead when Bum elected to punt with just under 2 minutes to play, but a FG would have extended the lead to where the Rams would have had to get a TD to win vs just a FG.

The big play was a 4th and 29 (I think that is the right yardage) and the Rams somehow someway got the phucking first down. A couple of plays later, Lansford is lining up for the clincher.

Worst loss in Saints history still to this day.

In the 1990 playoff game vs the Chicago Bears in which the Saints were trailing 13-6 in the 4th quarter, the Bears lined up for a field goal which was blocked and returned for a TD to tie the game. Or so it seemed. A very late penalty flag was thrown and the Saints were called for being offsides (replays showed this was inconclusive, the use of replay would have been helpful to the Saints that day).

Who was the Saint that ran back the ball for a touchdown that never was?
