This is a really tough set of questions.

    1. No clue, but will say Gumbo, though he's not a player.
    2. Danny Abramowitz.... butchered spelling.
    3. No clue, though I think Tom Benson is in orbit, some days.
    4. No clue here either, so I'll guess Bobby Hebert.
    5. Kansas City?
    6. Not even going to guess.
    7. The unbelievably awesome black helmets!
    8. No guess
    9. No guess
    10. Tyrone Hughes, Mel Gray, and Reggie Bush?

I know, and they reflect my age.

You got #'s 2 and 7 correct! (Abramowicz)

#9 - The Saints didn't make the playoffs in 1986. I assume you meant 1987. I will guess David Waymer and Stan Brock.

#4 Dave Wilson, I am almost certain

#10 Bush and Hughes, but I don't think Gray is correct (from DarkHornet's answer). I can't think of the name of that other returner we had that was good in the past decade.

Correct on all counts....'87, not '86...Waymer and Brock....Wilson....Bush and Hughes, but not Gray.

I think you're thinking of Michael Lewis. I was tempted to say him, but didn't remember a game where he returned 2 in a game. He's probably the 3rd though.

That's correct. He's in an unusual position, because his 2 in a game (at Washington) came as one kr and one pr. All of the record sites I can find recognize 2 krs (including Hughes) or 2 prs (including Bush) in one game, not one of each.

Nope, got to dispute you, teach. According to numerous websites (that I can link you to, if you like, but they include Wikipedia, which is as up to date as anyone), the only "retired" numbers recognized for the Saints are the 31 for Jim Taylor and the 81 for Doug Atkins. 51 was retired for Mills by the Panthers, and I believe he's up on the 'Dome wall with Jackson, Manning, Maravich, etc.

The Saints temporarily un-retired the 81 back in the Ditka era, and Michael Haynes wore it. I thought about making it that one of my trivia questions. However, when he took the number off it went back into retirement.

BTW, I did not cheat and check websites when I answered the question...that was from my own repository of knowledge. :thumb:Saintslogo

Too many blanks, I'll give you an incomplete. Liked your answer for #2, and it almost applied because they did cut Lewis and bring him back, and he is now in the record book. But, my question said original Saint, which narrows it down to Danny A.
