Correct Running back is correct, there have been 8: Les Kelly, Chuck Muncie, George Rogers, Ironhead Heyward, Vaughn Dunbar, Ricky Williams, Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush k/p is incorrect....Erxleben is the only one, as you said. We've also only drafted one 1st round QB - Archie, although there is the technicality of giving up a 1st round choice by taking Dave Wilson in the '81 supplemental draft. And, only one tight end - Irv Smith. We have NEVER selected a safety or a center in the 1st round.
Forgot...RHans had one of the 2 100 yard running tandems correct, Muncie and Galbreath. The other was Reuben Mayes and Ironhead against Cincinnati - believe it was in '89, the year Hebert sat and Fourcade/Walsh shared QB duties.
Name the 5 Saints (not all are players) in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Jim Taylor, What school did Jimmy attend after he left Baton Rouge High? What former LSU player led the USFL in Ints.?
Believe Taylor went to Istrouma. Are you sure about the USFL leader being an LSU guy? I know Gary Barbaro from Nicholls was considered one of the top DBs in that league.
Taylor went to Hinds Junior College, he didn't have the grades to get in LSU. 1984 USFL Defensive Player of the Year- Marcus Quinn, Played at Oakland. He led the USFL in Ints. for the year. In 1984, Barbaro, played for New Jersey, he made Sporting New All-League Team along with Quinn. 1984 Quinn had 12 ints. Barbaro had 4.
Did not know either of those facts, thanks. But then, this is supposed to be a Saints trivia thread Saintslogo:lol:
I know, just thought I'd throw those out. Maybe someone else didn't know those answers. Jimmys name did come up in this thread.......FYI
