I wish we would've signed Leftwich over Burnell though but I'm very excited for the upcoming season still got a lil hope out for Shockeybecause I really think Brees and Shockey would be deadly.
I knew he would come out and impress. The NFL network showed a stroy about him last season getting pointers from the top WR of our opponets before every game. He has the ethic and potential to be very beneficial to the team next year.
Yeah I remember that during the season and when Steve Smith and him were working out and formed a close relationship.

Saints are interested in Takeo Spikes and would be competition for Shanle eventhough IMO Takeo would start over him and help solidify our LB core some more.
I hate to admit this but, Spikes was one of my favorite non-LSU players when he was at Auburn...dude was all over the place and he could bring it. I always thought he would be the next LT or Singletary when he got drafted, I was a little off I guess.
