This shit is out of control. I'm sure everyone knows that NOLA is now the murder capital of the country.

It's gotten pretty personal to me. My sister, one of my best friends, and now my youngest daughter have all been victims of armed robbery. Thank God she is ok, but they tried to take her car. There were 3 of them with guns. When they demanded her keys, she threw them as far as she could.

That really pissed one of them off so he hit her in the head with his gun. She escaped with a 2" gash to her head. Her friend lost her purse and cellphone. Daughter lost her purse. But, they are alive.

Fucking jungle rules in that shit hole of a city.

Its a shithole and I would advise everyone leave if you can. Louisiana politicians absolutely have failed their people.

    Oklahoma and Texas are nice.

    Sorry to hear the news.

Can only imagine how you're feeling. As the father of a daughter, my first instinct would be to track down these pieces of shit and deal with them 'Taken' style. Obviously, that's not feasible for most of us, but I would do it if I could. Just glad nothing worse happened to her and the rest of your people.

I'd love to go see some Pelicans basketball live, but I'm just not going down there. One or two parking lots in the neighborhood get trashed during almost every game. Russian roulette with car windows.

So sorry this happened to her. And the mayor acts like none of this happens; b---h should be tarred and feathered.

Yes, both the Saints and Pelicans put out public statements asking the city to address the problem. Don't know if nola has any upcoming bids for a Super Bowl or NBA All Star game, but this would be a big strike against them.

I wonder what the crime stats will look like for this Mardis Gras season. I'm sure they are just trying to figure out how to skew or hide the numbers instead of addressing the problem.
