I work for the US Postal Service. And I know that this is not the "Christian" side of me. However, I wonder how many of the letters would reach him if a bunch of TF members wrote to tell him

    EAT **** AND DIE:huh:

    Just simple questions such as:

    1) how's your butt hole doing
    2) hope you got some before being incarerated so you know what you are missing
    3) are you the bitch or the dude
    4) I will have a fifth this weekend. Will you?
    5) So you are 25. Your Mom must be what? 45? What does she look like?
    6) Is your Dad a bastard too?

I COULD GO ON AND ON

Man, I read about 4 pages of that .pdf and couldn't read anymore. Then I read that penpal registry and nearly puked on my keyboard. "Hi there, will you be my friend? Poor, pitiful me is in a 6 by 9 cell all of the time." He needs one more measurement added....6 feet under.

Yep and the po po-yo yo we got for a police chief immediately went on TV to deny and discredit the FBI report because they aren't using the self serving, over inflated population figures that he and Nagin prefer.

Chief Riley has been taken to task by the city council for not presenting them with a concrete plan to reduce the murder rate. The guy uses BS stastics to beat his chest about how great of a job he's doing because he wants to be the next mayor of Chocolate city. He gets real defensive whenever he is dared to be questioned and has police hacks spreading recall petitions against his chief city council critic.

The E-mail flap concerning the council members is part of this grand smear campaign orchestrated by the mayor's (and police chief's) allies in city hall.

even with the selfserving over-inflated numbers that Nagin wants use, New Orleans is the the Murder Capital of the country. Instead of 64 murders per 100,000 people it goes down to 57 (i think) per 100,000.

I hate to say it, but New Orleans gets what they vote for. NO continually votes in the idiots just because their they are of a certain race. Until NO tries to get the best men/women for the job, they will continually have one of the worst crime rates.

Now that being said, I am pretty disappointed that BR is in the bottom 10 as well. But i at least see BR doing some things to try and curb the crime rates.

One thing i wish they would do is bulldoze the entire gardere area and start over. That would cut the murder rate in BR by at least 30%.

Ok first, Lasalle, I remember that all too well. Wasn't it something to do with that "gang" the Three Blind Mice or something about mice? Anyway it was horrible and I am very sorry for you nad your family and friends!

On another note i was reading all those pen pal requests from all the inmates??? WTF??? Are you kidding me??? One guy has a web page??? I made a mistake??? One guy said he wasnt judgmental...well I hope to F not!!! You are on death row dumba$$, and you are nice and understanding enough not to judge me for my speeding ticket??? Good grief! I should have never read all that!

What is the world coming to?? Nevermind I don't want to know!

Thats pretty horrible to deal with LaSalle, Im sorry for your loss and tragedy.

On the other hand, i remember as I was growing up that New Orleans was the murder capital a few years in a row, back in the mid and late 90s. So has Nagin been there that long? Or was there just as bad leadership in NO at that time?

I really appreciate everyone's kind words. We were not that close, we played High School baseball together, but the real victims other than Kipp are his mother, father, and sister. Regardless, thank you all very much, its very appreciated.

As far as new orleans goes, the reason it was the murder capital of the world is because the 60 day law, or the 701, or misdemeanor murder. Basically criminals and gang bangers in the Crescent City knew of this law, and knew if they committed a murder that they would be back on the streets in 60 days.
