    Damn fine post Tirk!
Reminds me of what Congress is up to these days, steroids and baseball.
It seems to me that they have more important issues to debate about.

Not trying to change the subject but I have no use for the NCAA rule committee, NCAA enforcement committee or Congress of the United States.
They both are worthless and useless with one exception, Congress investigating the presidents or trying to keep the executive branch in check!
I'm voting for Les Miles as president in November the way its looking, no one else is worth my time!:rolleye33:

    From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

That seems pretty definitive and I couldn’t be happier about it. I apologize if any confusion was caused by my initial interpretation, but I don’t believe the answer was that clear from the published releases.

It seems to me that it would make more sense to use a 25 second play clock when the chains are moved, but we’ll know for sure in April assuming the rule gets approved.

Agreed. It's all about the $$$. they're trying to ruin the part of college football that makes it so much better than the pro game. It's still mostly about the game! With all the recruiting things (pryor's press conference to announce he's not announcing) and high school football games on TV, it's getting a little out of hand, IMO.
