Looking at the yards per carry and the respective ages of the players, if LSU's passing game picks up enough to support the running game and keep the LSU offense on the field long enough for their running backs to get more carries, LSU's running backs shoudl be far superior to Auburns from last year. Also, factor in that Addai spent part of the season playing wideout, which took some of his running reps.
  2. among all 3 LSU guys there, thats an avg of 5.67 yds/carry, 6.4 if you take the top 2...compared to 5.45 for the AU guys.

6.7 yd avg for addai...thats sick. and to think that many of us thought we wouldnt see much more of him after the emergence of JV & AB. HA! i love that guy.
  3. Yeah, you come in peace, you lying sack of dung.

Get the hell back to Bauburn and your 1957 MNC in football.
  4. Backhanded compliment....sorta like LSU fans would say to Aubies, "Nice National Championship...or not"
  5. When Auburn wins 7 games next year and Tubby fires all of his assistants for the 9th consecutive year......we will see the usual Auburn come out
  6. You're giving Tommy too much credit!

Shouldn't it be "..and Lowder fires Tubby's assistants for 9th consecutive year..."?

If Alabama Poly beats Tech (sorry, Ruston. Tech's in Atlanta) and Arkansas, they will trailer into Baton Rouge undefeated. Maybe they'll keep under 21 in the 1st quarter this trip to Tiger Stadium!
