Are you in Aspen year round? I was stationed with some Aussies later in my career and drank my fair share of Fosters.

I was in college when Foster's first hit the US. It used to (may still) come in those big oversized cans, and one of my buddies got the idea of buying oil can spigots and drinking Foster's through them. Not a happy experience.

It still does as far as I know. Last time I drank Foster's was on tap at an Old Chicago a few years ago. Better than most domestics I just remember our Aussie counterparts bitching about it.

In America it is. In Australia, the alcohol content is higher and therefore it's much better. Foster's on tap is very tasty Down Under.

Could be. I think the Foster's here is pretty high so not sure if alch % is it or not. Hell AndyGator (one of my all time faves) is close to 9. Then there is that Duevel that is I think 12% and it taste carbonated to me. Who knows with those blokes

Man wish I could afford to be in Aspen all year but even if I could the hypocrite liberals there would drive me crazy. I spend about 20 days there skiing with my friends, my wife and clients. Learned to snow ski while stationed at Elmendorf now I teach my clients how to ski.

I learned to ski when I got here in the '70s. We skied mostly at Ski Cooper near Leadville. That's where the 10th Mountain Division trained during WWII. It's cheap, has tons of snow, and no lift lines.
