    of course we can, especially if we make the illegals legal and get them going paying taxes. a younger workforce is exactly what this country needs.

    a friend of mine's dad is an illegal immigrant. he has lived here for 40 years and served in vietnam. technically he could be rounded up by la migra and sent back to the DR. ludicrous. lets just make these folks legal.

    First of all, if he served in the military in Vietnam he is a legal resident with a green card and eligible for citizenship. Secondly, how could he be here 40 years and not have taken advantage of at least three previous amnesties?

    Rosa Parks also went to jail for lawbreaking. Later the unfair laws were changed. But lawbreaking was enforced as it should be. If you think this law is unfair and should be changed, then advocate for it. But to suggest that it is fine to ignore the law because you don't agree with it is anarchy. You have a tendency towards anarchism.

    well at least they would provide these minimum wage services the rest of us need, and pay sales taxes.
