is murder wrong because it is it morally wrong, or is it wrong because it is illegal? if it were made legal would it be ok? stop thinking laws define right and wrong.
i have always been wildy in favor of racist hiring practices in the private sector. discrimination should be our right, but only as private citizens. government should hite the best workers so our tax money isnt wasted. private citizens should be able to only hire negroes or honkeys or mulsims or homos or whoever. its not morally wrong to be racist. it is sometimes irrational, but yunno, so be it.
You are like a 3-year old who keeps asking why? The problem has been stated and restated many times in this thread.
"because it is illegal" doesnt count as a reason something is wrong. overcrowded schools is a decent argument, but we should build more schools, not discourage immigration.
since it was determined that lawmakers are just a bunch of clods and they are not at all likely to make laws that correspond with what is right and wrong or smart. keep in mind that our nation actually passed the 18th amendment and actually thought people should be locked up for having wine with their dinner. perhaps you would have avoided the awesome parties at the speakeasies because they were illegal? on no we cant disregard the precious laws!
