    How about a big tar moat surrounding the country, we already have that working in the gulf of mexico.

    i am aware of what "rights" we have as a sovereign nation.

    because liberals control congress and the wh. can you imagine if O granted amnesty? they would want the man in jail. reagan does it and he's some conservative champion.

    Reagan has not gotten many compliments for his amnesty program from conservatives. The problem wasn't amnesty so much as it was granting it without first securing the border. It did not solve the problem.

    Serial amnesties have been a failure. The border must be secured.

    Because it did not stop the flow of illegals or even dissuade them. They each have cutoffs, after which we are going to get really serious about deporting illegals. But it never happens, the borders admit millions more and in a few years, they get offered an amnesty too.

    It's a failure because it has become a route to evade the legal immigration procedures of this country.

    Why do you think that laws should be ignored just because you dislike them?

    do you think "i am not gonna enjoy this marijuana, because it is illegal"? of course not. laws are wrong all the time. it is our duty to disobey silly laws. we are like a bunch of rosa parks.
