the belief a crime has been committed or is being committed. You could go as far as to say, may be committed. At least that's how I always understood it.

You see a guy with a ski mask on and a bulge in the small of his back standing in front of a bank. You don't have probable cause, cause you haven't caught him doing anything yet, but you have reason to believe a crime may be afoot. Tell me if I'm wrong, my google's broke.

I understand that, now translate that to reasonably suspecting someone of being in the country illegaly?

of course they expected it to survive, but you are right it does force the Feds hand, which is a good thing in my opinion, but dont do it at the detriment of the states economy, tourism, and race relations. Dont cut your nose off to spite your face.

No, it wasn't "snarkiness", whatever that is. You delivered a personal attack filled with insults because you didn't like my opinions and I dared find issue with yours.

No you weren't. You were trying to speak for me and to predispose my eventual remarks with your personal disparaging comments. If you can't control you temper, I'm not wasting my time discussing anything with you. Got that?

What is the motivation for cops (Many are Hispanic) to harass Hispanic citizens" just because they are brown"? Your issue here is cop distrust, not illegal immigration. An offense is an offense and the cops have a right to ask citizens (of all races) for ID if they commit one. This has always been true--nothing has changed. They just clarified it.

Now you are making up scenarios so that you can argue with yourself while invoking my name. This is the sort of dishonest debate that I have no intention of participating in.

Don't ever put words into my mouth. I speak plainly for myself.

You can't, that's why you ask people that are legally detained for ID.

Look, stop trying to tell me how to respond to you. You aren't interested in my response, you want to ask questions and answer them for me. Homie don't play that.

Why don't you just make it up yourself, that's what you want here, apparently. If you want an honest discussion with me, then lose the childish attitude and talk like a man.

No one added building codes. You made that up.

Have you ever dealt with a cop in your life? When they ask for ID they don't want to hear "I'm Joe from LaPlace". They want proper identification.

For the last friggin' time stop putting words into my mouth regarding your own scenarios. I defend what I say, not what you imagine I'm thinking. :insane:

Ask a proper question if you want a proper answer.

I think you are humbled only by your idealistic rhetoric.

It seems to me that you have no capacity for civil discussion.

Nobody understands what you are trying to say here, WTF is "Red #4". I think you don't want to discuss the bill anymore, just to wag a finger at me because my posts are inconvenient to your self-righteous mission.

No I think I'll just discuss the issues with those that are civil. Come back when you grow up.

yes i want to pick a choose how laws are enforced. if someone is running around on a ball field with an rpg-shoot them in the head. if someone is running around on a ball field waving their hands around like their on a rollercoaster-catch them and take them away.

Amazing how you never hear them discuss how they acquired "their" land to begin with.

It was justified. If there was any doubt it all ended when the ACLU called it excessive. If the ACLU was against it, then it was the correct action.
