That sounds kind of gruesome, I'd like to send Mexican boarders home instead of actually eviscerating them.

this is actually an issue i have thought about alot. i used to always worry about my stupid accent and i thought i would sound condescending. but over and over i have found that a sincere effort to speak another person's language is appreciated. this is confirmed by the dominican/puerto rican chick i am dating, except she makes fun of my "spain spanish" that i learned at LSU, which is absurdly formal compared to latin american spanish.

i cant think about politics in that context. i dont care how people vote, i want everyone to be as free as i am, and to have the opportunity i have had. thats i why i favor small government and free immigration.

I just believe by allowing free immigration it would undoubtedly lead to more votes for the democratic party and in turn lead to much larger government. History shows the democrats get the majority of the Latino vote. I believe a mass influx of Latino immigrants (This is what would occur with free immigration.) would lead to a one party system in this country unless the republican party moved to the left. Either way the end result would be a much larger government than otherwise would have been and less freedom which is the opposite of what you advocate. By the way, I would also be concerned if mass immigration from another country led to more support for the republican party. A one party system would not be healthy no matter who is in control.

if i was the person in real life that am here, everyone would hate me and i wouldnt get any women.

we should allow the immigration and fight the ideological battle against big government separately.

Today maybe. Who knows what tomorrow brings. There have been no shortages of right-wing fascist regimes in Latin America. The illegal workers are at complete odds with the blue-collar labor unions in the Democratic party. The republican party favors letting big business use illegal labor. The Hispanic voters will go wherever their best interests lie. Most apparently think their best interest lie with Mexican Nationals than Middle America.

Right now neither democrats nor republicans want to touch this issue. They both need the Hispanic vote, but not the the expense of the much larger Anglo vote that doesn't have a lot of sympathy for illegals.

    Yeah, right. :dis:

Obama says Hispanics taking their grandkids out for ice cream will get harassed.

Time for a beer summit with Arizona's governor, I guess.
