    From the Toronto Star 12/17/2002:
I found a reference to the CSIS report, but it is no longer on line as far as I can tell.

Not surprised, where isn't Al Qaeda these days?
The north border is still better and more secure than the south border.
Nothing but chaos at the south border, anything goes.
I have been through the north border driving from the lower 48 to Alaska.

I have made no moral arguments. I have simply listed reasons why you will be destined to be frustrated.
I think speeding; not coming to a full stop at a stop sign, etc is a moving violation and not a crime. I think parking in a no parking zone is a parking violation and not a crime. I think coming here without credentials is an immigration violation and not a crime.

We disagree on how to effectively deal with the separate issues of security, drugs and immigration. One tool does not fit all.

If illegals were only committing crimes against other illegals, I would think you wouldn't give a ****. .

This will make a serious dent in the immigration problem, but I just think it's your fingers typing to sound balanced. Your passion about illegals is obvious and this is clinical. You won't fight for this.

I would be more worried about MS 13 than Al Queda. Al Queda is a bunch of pussies compared to Mara.

They are very poor reasons and frustrate me not at all. It's just another attempt to moralize lawbreaking.

I think you're dreaming, amigo. Illegal entry is a federal offense punishable by both civil and criminal penalties including imprisonment as well as deportation.

I'll buy that, but I also recognize that some tools fit many.

Please, don't try to imagine what I'm thinking and make up an issue to argue with yourself. I speak my mind very clearly.

You don't get to speak for me, chief. I stated my position plainly and it is consistent with what I've stated many times before on many threads. Why don't you stick to telling us what you think and I'll speak for myself, thank you.

I thought the PC Police stated the term "illegal alien" was no longer to be used. Instead, we should use "undocumented alien". AZ has simply passed a law that says it's illegal to be undocumented.

Thats pretty funny to try to simplify it that much. There are major republican figures, who have come out against this law. Its pretty much bs and unconstitutional.

lawbreaking doesnt need moralizing. i think the dude is trying to explain to you that just because something is illegal that doesnt make it wrong.

How can it be unconstitutional? It simply states that the same laws that have been federal laws for 50 years are now state laws, too.
