This thread, like all others is about whatever direction that the thread participants take it. I say the proper way to honor and memorialize those who were murdered by muslim terrorist on 9/11 is to take whatever steps necessary to make damn sure that it never happens again. I don't believe that Obama is man enough to take those steps. I hope I am proven wrong.

I never said that Obama was a muslim. Learn to read without reading your own slant into my posts. If I had said that Obama was nearly as skilled as Adolf Hitler at mesmerizing their target audiences it wouldn't mean that I was comparing Obama to Hitler. Just commenting on their relative oratorical skills and ability to mislead the populace.

I don't believe that Obama is a muslim and I don't believe that he wants to be seen as soft on terrorism. I do believe that he is afraid to offend anybody in the middle east where polls show that he is highly popular.

Just because I am highly skeptical of Obama's ability and willingness to stand up against not only our enemies but also the liberal faction of the Democratic party led by Nancy Pisslosi certainly dosen't mean that I am ignorant

Red can't help it. As a Moderate, he somehow feels duty bound to defend Obama at every turn.

As to how one should commemmorate 9/11, the answer is "any damn way you see fit". I see this symbol :911: as a reminder to remain vigilant, not honor the dead (which I do). I've been to the site no less than 20 times, the
first, 3 weeks after the attack. I've smelled it. I've seen the pictures on the fence begging for info on missing loved ones. Urging America to be proactive in the war on terrorism is in no way besmirching the memories of the heroes and ordinary people that died that day.
