I had a rescue that was about a year old when I had him fixed. Didn't change shit. Still aggressive towards other dogs and always at full throttle. Ended up giving him to a guy with tons of acreage and 2 young boys that needed to expend some energy. I miss that hole-digging shithead, but it didn't change his attitude after the meds wore off. He'll be fine, just keep the lampshade on for a while so he doesn't rip out stitches.
