That's sort of my situation. It's just the wife & I and occasionally our granddaughter. My wife and granddaughter both have phones, so I'm fine without one.
I had a Droid before I switched back to the iPhone. There's things I like about both and then there's things I hate about both. All in all I am happy with my iPhone. I would suggest the iPhone 6S if you're not into the bigger screen, and while it does bug me at times, the 6S plus does have one damn fine camera.
