Ordered a digitizer, didn't work. Ordered another, dude realized it's the phone. Away with the G2 and I guess I'll get an Iphone so I can face time with my kids. Guys, this process is going to be painful for me. Not sure if I should go 6S.Thought about refurbished then figured not worth risking getting a dud for $200.00. Also thinking about 5S cause frankly, the bigger screen on the G2 can be a pain in the ass. It's why I got it back then but makes it harder to tuck in pocket the few times I do. Dam, all these decisions.
I have a galaxy s6 and like it. I am a big fan of bigger screen. Both my daughters are iPhone freaks, but they have had a LOT more problems with their phones than I have ... but I still get to pay to fix/replace theirs! Doh!
I suspect I'm one of the few people that doesn't have a cell phone. Now that I'm retired, I don't need it.
I had gotten the G2 because OF the bigger screen. Haven't used it as much as I thought so went with the Eye5. I can't stand when people carry their phones in back pockets but sometime I like to slip in in my pocket when I'm walking from point A to B and want a smaller one for that also. Half the price too. SOLD. lol
It crossed my mind to just not have one. Sounds crazy but we used to only have one phone (land line) so I figured if wife and two daughters had one, people could find me if need be. I have an office during the day that my secretary can buzz me.
