I was curious as to how we ranked statistically in the SEC in passing offense. I looked at the stats for this year and the previous four. The results weren't surprising: 2014 164 ypg SEC rank 14th 2013 265 ypg SEC rank 5th 2012 207 ypg SEC rank 11th 2011 160 ypg SEC rank 11th 2010 155 ypg SEC rank 14th
and what will that accomplish. everyone knows our offense sucks whether they admit it or not. let me help you with another analogy. hes like some member's kids. they will deny and protect him to the bitter end. because hes family and they're in it for the long haul so theres no need to get upset over individual games. simply look long-term and all is well. and we couldnt find better anyhow. others dont see it that way. im somewhere in the middle. except on offense. he needs to be fired from his oc position. that includes team meetings, coaches meetings, phone conversations, twitter, facebook messenger, gotomeeting.com. les should not be allowed to even intimate how he feels about our offensive gameplan from here out. he should also be fired from his qb recruiting involvement on all levels.
exactly. and lsu's offense usually sucks. the common denominator is the head coach. we dont need to discuss the constant in the equation anymore. its like gravity. its understood. by most anyhow.
I thought throughout the year that BH should have had 2 designated series a game, maybe 2nd or 3rd series each half so that he could develop, but here's the question: WHAT DOES THE STAFF DO WHEN HARRIS FAILS TO PUT IN THE WORK?????? Hell, it seems he won't even put on a headset or get with Jennings on the sideline, etc, etc, etc we saw what could be when he was going against the moo u scout team but saw reality at auburn. the staff bears responsibility but how much of that is on Harris? I want to see harris too but evidently he doesn't want it as badly as we seem to.
does anyone really believe said rumors? was lee skipping class the reason he sat behind jefferson. it doesnt matter. harris was sitting since his token start no matter what. many said it before the season and were proven right. ajj is the new chosen one. all the peripheral stuff is bullshit. just like les was about to put harris in the last 5 games but forgot. we have to use a little common sense after the 1000th time we hear another excuse. harris isnt starting no matter what happens in spring. it didnt matter last spring. and it didnt matter with actual in-game results. thats where all the frustration comes from. we are going to see much of the same show all over again. and people are simply tired of the script. 78.6%.

He doesn't need to study, once practice is over, he's free to leave, play video games, do whatever he wants. Guess Mett was lucky, only one class to take, stay around, learn defenses, know the playbook, etc. An where did it get him?
The issue with running the option in that game in January was with blocking. There was a change between the regular season game and the NC game. In the later, the guys on the outside (TE, T's, and Slot Rcvrs) were focusing on containing the two inside backers freeing up the JACK and SAM. That's where the option fell apart. In the regular season game the blocking assignments were different. I don't believe that, at all. Callahan certainly wasn't a good fit but that fell on him; not Nebraska's location or national pull. Solich? How much of that had to do with how much Osbourne didn't like what Pederson had done? A lot, I believe. Just as a comparison look at Wisconsin. They are still recruiting those "corn feed" type of linemen, developing them over a period of a few years, and then doing what everyone thinks they are going to do: run the ball. Nebraska has as similar type of player in their recruiting footprint. Imagine a guy like Paul Johnson in Lincoln. Now, put those two together and tell me why Nebraska couldn't take the top place in the B1G?
Everyone remembers the Neb weight room. Taking walk-ons, getting them to 5th year Srs, bigger and stronger than most. 9-4 10-4 10-4 9-4 10-4 9-4 Thats Bo's record up till this year. I don't know why they kept the guy this long?
