As soon as I saw that Alabama was going to be LSU's opponent in that NC game I knew for a certainty that Les Miles was going to stick with the same game plan run JJ on the option that had worked for very limited success in a defensive stalemate. I also knew for a 100% certainty that Nick Saban was going to make the adjustments and would have a game plan to stop it. How did I know that? Like quite a few thousand other fans I knew how stubborn Les Miles is and he would refuse to think that Saban could stop him.
I answered, you can't handle the truth........(In the voice of Jack). You win as a team and you know, as a team. Les has always put the blame on himself, not players, not coaches. When something needs to be changed, he does it. I've said this many times, even Red said a little more, but you just can't get it. Mike D. and an NFL Scout I know, but said that Jennings improved this season, don't take my word, take the word of the Pro's. Thats what they do for a living. In one game we had 5 or six dropped passes, Cam called the plays, he can't make the catches also? He's calling the right plays. You think he forgot how to coach? Would you like to fire Cam? He's not doing his job? They are paid to win games, stats are great, barn put up some great stats yesterday, in the end, its about the W/L's.
We were playing for a National Championship. Any moron should know that's incentive enough to adjust your game play to meet changing realities. Well, almost any moron.
