That makes sense. I just assumed people would negative rep him just because he's a moderator.

First of all, Jason White played a different LSU defense. Secondly, even completely healthy, I don't beleive he was as good as Brady Quinn, certainly not as big and strong.

I don't doubt that LSU will get its shots on Quinn. Everyone else they've played has gotten their shots on him, and he's still put up numbers. Even in the 2 losses, he was constantly nailed, and he still got his.

And what was the outcome? LSU hasn't been beat that bad all year. Actually they haven't been beat that bad in years. Go look it up.

2 of those tds in the 4th qtr when the game was in hand while you were losing 40-14. Thats known as mop-up duty where Weis leaves quinn in to pad his numbers. however, its often when you're getting raped and not playing the service academy rotation.

here's some food for thought since we're on the subject of qbs:

And on the flip, our QB didn't have the opportunities to add cosmetic TD's cause Flynn and Perrilloux, rightfully, were given playing time when the game was "In hand".

    Right on!!:helmet:

P.S. You might want to leave those nuns at home for this one. They might just be tiger fans by the time we're finished with them.

Reminds me of that girl from Bell City who wanted to become a nun until she realized what "Nun" meant. :hihi:

and how many Heisman awards has Brady Quinn won? .... and while you're at it, name the last ND quarterback that made a splash at the next level. It's not like the SEC doesn't face its share of skill players.

No offense, but if it weren't for Weis and Smarjanikstan, I'm not even certain BQ would be getting the same amount of love from the mainstream media.

The jury may still be out on whether Quinn is a legend just yet. But , what is definitely certain is that he'll get his shot at becoming one against a solid defense, for a change. Notre Dame has lost something like 8 straight bowl games. If BQ delivers them from the promised land, he'll write his own ticket in life.... he'll have it made.
