What about Craig Nall? I think he's a backup somewhere. I know he transferred, but he was on LSU's roster at one time. Does that count?

He transferred to Northwestern State and is now 3rd string QB at Buffalo behind J.P.Losman and Kelly Holcomb. Not sure if it counts.

No, really, in the history of the NFL, more QBs have been born and played in Louisiana than anywhere else.

    Manning brothers
    Bradshaw
    Doug Williams

to name a few. I'm sure I could go through and list everyone, but why bother. I wasn't talking regions as much as states. I'll try to find the Sports Illustrated graphic.

This is a per-capita distribution of NFL players (or possibly qbs, I know we have the most of those by far- there were 32 maps in this issue) per state (the color is the actual number). THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is what Saban saw.

I think the information was so advanced and the maps so perfect that no one wanted to say anything.

By the way, when did Louisiana become three times the size of texas?

I don't think I explained it well enough:

The size of the state is expressing the per-capita numbers of NFL players (IDK if all-time or current). The color is the acutal number of QBs to come from the state.

I think. I need to look at it more, or find the issue of SI this came from. I was lucky to find the map, but there was no descriptor on it..
UPDATE: http://www.directionsmag.com/article.php?article_id=742 So it was QBs, all-time. Per capita is size, color is acutal number.

Some of the other 32 maps featured in that issue are also pictured. If anyone has a collection of SIs, it was the 50th anniversary edition.

I'm still here. I've just been trying to figure out whether or not history counts or not. One minute people are complaining about the media talking about the history of Notre Dame, the next someone is throwing out statistics about the history of quarterbacks from Louisiana. I'm ok w/ it though. C'est tout bon!

Back to the game. What do you think the attitude of LSU will be for the game? One of the things that has disappointed me this year w/ ND is the apparant lack of emotion, especially in the big losses. I'm hoping w/ everyone predicting them to get blown out they come w/ more spark to start things off.

Don't worry about them, these guys change their minds moe often than a woman with suffering from indecision.

I think LSU will come out fired up. I beleive they know the importance of representing the state in the first Sugar Bowl back in NO.

Honestly, that concerns me a little. I do believe LSU will be pumped, play Tiger ball, and win the game but all that "Blown out" stuff is great locker room material and concerns me.
