NCAA Winning % by Decade

    So the 'decade' of 87-93 was the high point of ND football. Maybe if you change the definition of 'winning' it will make ND look even better.:wink:

    Take it easy people. I wasn't trying to start anything. I'm just making an observation about the earlier post that ND barely made it into the top 10 in the 70's.

    The same "argument" could probably be made for LSU in some of the other decades (excluding the 90's).

    Interesting notes:

    The team with the most top 10 decade finishes since the 70's was PSU. Ohio State will also have 4 if they can finish this decade in the top 10.

    Biggest power shift was between the 70's and 80's. Only 4 teams from the 70's top 10 finished in the 80's top 10:
    - Michigan
    - Nebraska
    - OU
    - PSU
