This was inevitable. The NCAA was likely already keeping an eye on his dumb ass for his hangouts with celebrities, flashing wads at a casino, etc. he posted on Twitter. And FWIW, regarding Cam's situation, Emmert already said he skated on a loophole in their by-laws, which has since been plugged.
That's a good thing. BTW, Drew Brees is an average size guy as well. I totally understand your point, but I don't think JM's size will keep him out of the NFL. His immaturity may, though.
If he plays again, his size won't keep him out (though I doubt he'll be that successful). But if he's ruled ineligible, I doubt he ever plays a down in the NFL. Back to that immaturity thing. I wonder if he's bi-polar or something? He seems kinda cray-cray.
He seems like a spoiled rich kid who's gotten by on his natural ability all his life and never really had to seriously struggle and work hard at something before.
Which exemplifies the extent of the state of Alabama's influence currently in the NCAA. (not to mention the SEC)
It isn't just his lack of size; Little John just doesn't have an NFL arm. Not at all. Oh sure, he can make some decent throws and float them in there when the D is back on their heels, waiting for him to run. But he just doesn't have the arm strength to make it as an NFL QB. He is the second coming of Tebow, without actually being the second coming in the biblical sense. If you want to get a glimpse as to how he'd fare against an NFL defense, re-watch aTm vs LSU last year, then multiply that by about 5.
His offensive line and WRs helped him a ton last year, and he lost a lot of them. I was looking forward to seeing him get beat down this year.
As was I. I really wanted to give him a nice, warm welcome to Tiger Stadium. Now all we'll get are excuses from the aggie faithful.
I don't think the NCAA can get him here. No subpoena power and no witnesses. I'm sure the transaction was done in cash and this "contract" will never see the light of day. Aggies can't suspend him if NCAA finds nothing because then they are admitting he did something wrong. I suspect he doesn't miss a snap.
