I knew vball would chime in and she wouldn't back down. I'm not a USC fan (or of the U for that matter), but if I was, I'd be pissed. Bush took benefits off campus, which is a lot tougher to monitor and they got hammered. Miami was doing it right under the nose of the administration and they basically get off scott free.

Timing is everything and we all know why the U got off so easily is because of the corruption discovered in the ranks of the NCAA during the investigation. They can deny it all they want, but I don't see how they can keep a straight face when they do.

It seems like every time I settle into the reality of our sanctions, another school gets nothing for much worse. Miami's violations were 100x the scope and severity of what USC was accused of. And they got diddly. The NCAA is a sham. A joke. An embarrassment.

Miami was also drug through the mud for a few years in the process. Lets not forget about that either. However, it's not fair. Jerry Tarkanian is laughing because Savannah State is about to get the death penalty because of Alabama and Miami's violations.

Drug through the mud for a "few" years? Boo hoo. USC was investigated for 5 freakin years. And what did they come up with? Bush, a basketball issue which has since been partially dismissed, and a foreign tennis player making calls to the home country. 30 scholarships for that? Bullshyte.
