  2. Each case is judged based on it's own merits so all you USC/Reggie Bush lovers here can just back the phuck off.
  3. I don't think you'll find many of those here.

  4. NCAA wanted to set a brand new recent standard for the upcoming Alabama investigation. Yeah, I said it....CONSPIRACY.
  5. Frankly I have no idea what they did, but if they got off light and start stealing a few recruits from the Gators it can only help the Tigers right? As long as we still get a top player or two from The Sunshine state, then I got no problems with the U.
  6. ....but, the U is a sleeping giant. No need to wake them up.
  7. Nope. Not going to back the phuck off. :D

    Wetzel hits it pretty well here. http://onlyagame.wbur.org/2013/10/26/wetzel-miami-sanctions
    Miami, Ahia St, and Penn St sanctions combined for a loss of 20 scholarships. USC was hit with 30.....around ONE player. The NCAA continues to hide behind the nonsense of the Committee on Infractions as being separate but it's b.s. and everyone knows it. How will you feel when Bama gets a total reprieve? After all Saban and LSU's former Chancelor, Emmert, are good friends. Total bullshyte.
  8. Miami boosterNevin Shapiro, convicted ofsecurities fraudandmoney launderingfrom aPonzi schemein 2010 and currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, allegedly used investor funds to finance donations to the University of Miami's athletic program, and claims that he gave an estimated $2 million in prohibited benefits to at least 72 current or former football/basketball players and coaches from 2002 to 2010. The Yahoo! Sports report alleges that Shapiro, through his donations, violated at least four major NCAA bylaws:
    • Bylaw 11, involving impermissible compensation to coaches;
    • Bylaw 12, involving amateurism of athletes;
    • Bylaw 13, involving improper recruiting activity; and
    • Bylaw 16, involving extra benefits to athletes.[4]

    • Several players, coaches, and a booster, directly affiliated with the program, not an agent luring players away, as in USC's case. And let's not forget that the douche who ran the program at the time was Paul Dee (rot in hell) who was the head of the COI and handed down the infractions to USC. They hypocrisy is outlandish.
  9. I knew vball would chime in and she wouldn't back down. I'm not a USC fan (or of the U for that matter), but if I was, I'd be pissed. Bush took benefits off campus, which is a lot tougher to monitor and they got hammered. Miami was doing it right under the nose of the administration and they basically get off scott free.

    Timing is everything and we all know why the U got off so easily is because of the corruption discovered in the ranks of the NCAA during the investigation. They can deny it all they want, but I don't see how they can keep a straight face when they do.

  10. Miami was also drug through the mud for a few years in the process. Lets not forget about that either. However, it's not fair. Jerry Tarkanian is laughing because Savannah State is about to get the death penalty because of Alabama and Miami's violations.
