Yeah I pretty much keep it on all-american. Does anyone else find it harder to run the ball this year than last? Hurley is good up the gut but with Carey and Addai it is hard to break one to the outside. Maybe I am still getting used to the new version. What is up with the star around your player instead of the circle, mighty cheesy.
It is harder but, its like that every year. They improve the defenses every year, and this years is tough. Like i said earlier, i am having alot of trouble trouble trying to convert from a PS2 to a XBox (haven't quit figured the controller out). The tackling graphics are much better, the play action is awesome, it tricks me all of the time, the QB will go to hand the ball off and I will be like "I didn't pick that play", then "Ok, nevermind". Brazell has 99 speed, Devery 97. My roomate and I started our dynasty last night. I am LSU and he is Virginia and we are playing in the same dynasty, this way its fun and by the time we both master the game we will be meeting in the NC almost every year........I can't wait to finish this first season and see how the recruiting is.!!!!!!! Oh and with the star around the players, I read somewhere that they wanted to change to the star for some reason (can't remember why) so they went "old school" and put the star like older football games had..........I don't mind it thoug
My passing skills in this game so far leave much to be desired. I am having big problems with the timing. I do have the #1 defense in the country going into the Georgia game though! Too bad my offense is #110. I will get better, its just a matter of finding about 4-5 pass plays that I am money on. Just gotta figure out the timing!!
i like how they added teh bubble screen plays to the LSU playbook. But do we really use the shotgun THAT much?
they really raped our playbook; defensive playbook is ok, but our offensive playbook. I wish they would have kept the ace trips formation and the regular ace normal. The destroy play they had in ace trips last year was my bread and butter for picking defenses appart. I dont like the pass formations and plays they have for us. I have mainly been running my offenses out of the I, Hurley is a beast up the gut for short yardage. If I dont find more plays I like and are comfortable with I might have to adopt someone elses playbook. Also I am doing better with Henderson than with Clayton , they made Devery very good in this game.
Got mine last night. Online is greatness. I found that you must stick to our own. My first name was against some guy who played Oregon. I was up 28 - 0 and the jackass quit on me. However I read if you quit it hurts your ratings and if you do it several times your account is disabled. So if someone quits on you, be sure to finish the game because you get the win and he gets a black mark. Also I found its best to create an SEC room and wait for our SEC brothers to show up. The first two games with some Yankees (one from Oregon and the other from Ohio - They quit when I was winning. I created the SEC room a UGA fan and a Bama fan showed up. I played the UGA guy. He kicked the tar out of me (44-14 UGA is nasty on this game you cannot run the ball) but he was cool, no onside kicks all the time, going for it on 4th and 20 etc etc crap from the Yankees... SO trust me, create an SEC room and wait for our kind to show up. As far as the game, I am a bit dissapointed you cannot run the ball that much, I never even get a hole and usually get stopped in the backfield. LSU has a top 2 Off. Line this year and I cannot even pick up 2 yards.... Mauck is not exactly the best, however Try Jamarcus I have better luck with him then anyone else. Yeah but Im awesome with Skyler Green (#5) He runs the post great! What number is hurley? I like addai in this game but hes not fast enough........carey is fast as anything but too small! (5'6) I took off UL monroe and put it Kansas State i shouldnt of done that haha but im playing on All American (on xbox) I got agood game goin
I wish they had online capability for x box dude ur making me so jealous......I have a ps2 but i got it on xbox instead and im a kid so i dont have another $50 to spend!
I hate our playbook. Two I formations is all we get? I wish they would have kept Ace Trips and Ace Normal. I used to drill with Ace Destroy. I don't mind all the bubble screens because all i do is throw it to Brazell and Skyler and they break for big YAC. I haven't figured out the one to Addai yet. Clayton is invisible in my offense, the only WR I have been able to get production out of so far is Devery and Skyler and Bennie. Running the ball is impossible, but I'll get used to it.
