Use I think its the I twins formation where both receivers are on one side and the TE is on the other with an I backfield. Use HB ISO and HB LEAD to the side with no receivers.

Watch the defense for how they adjust to the formation if they rotate over and are in man coverage watch the safety on the side you are running after the snap. If you can get him to commit inside sometimes you can bounce it for big gains.

If the defense does not rotate over they are in zone so DO NOT try to bounce it just stick it up the middle and follow the FB.

HB ISO is good for a some yards all the time but you have to be patient and stick with it between the tackles.

This system keeps me balanced and there is a great play action fade out of this set you can burn your buddy when he thinks all you do is run out of that set.

Obviously, we must have different playing styles because--same here, I have about 10 games under my belt (and 3 of those is the first 3 games of my Dynasty with LSU).

Through 3 games, Addai is ave. 90 yards per game (8 minute quarters), Randall (Mauck BROKE HIS JAW in the 1st week) is ave. 187 yards passing, with 4 TD's through the air and 1 rushing. Clayton and Henderson are both tied with 14 receptions each. Clayton has 250-something yards and 2 scores, Henderson has 175 and 2 scores.

Defensively, I'm #10 in the nation in rushing defense (31 yards against ave.) BUT PASS DEFENSE is killing me! ULM and Arizona both broke the 300 yard barrier against me...but I won both by scores of 49-21 and 24-14. Webster is my SOLE savior--with 4 INT's through 3 games and 1 INT for a TD. Marcus Spears has 4 sacks on the season--3 alone coming against ULM in the first game.

All games have been on the "ALL-American" level....

I'm with you on that one! I like competitive games. Though, naturally, I'd like to bring home the National Title, I WANT Auburn, Florida, Georgia and the like to give me games. I want to be forced to use the entire playbook and I want any of those teams to have a realistic chance of beating me.

I'm using the same settings as you and I pretty much had my way with ULM (which, realistically speaking--that SHOULD happen) and beat them 49-21...but they passed for WELL over 300 yards against me. I beat Arizona 24-14 and lost to Georgia 31-28 in triple OT (after having them march down the field and score a tieing TD with under a min. left in regulation.).

No matter how advanced video games get, they still "cheat." Especially back in the days on the original nintendo it would pull some sneaky stuff. I had a friend that called Nintendo once and asked them if they programmed their video games to cheat.

Yeah, it doesnt quite seem fair that your input first goes through your opponent before making it the the tv. :D

To help your pass defense try the nickel crash 2 formation. Bring Marcus Spears #84 straight upfield and then pursue the QB. If you do not try and bring him inside immediately he has the speed to get around the tackle without getting blocked. I am through 7 games and have 23 sacks with him. Also this formation provides pretty decent pass coverage. Susceptible, however, to sideline routes and perfectly thrown deep balls.

Cool...I certainly try it. Getting lit up like a Christmas tree is doing nothing for my self-confidence....and hopes of landing top DB recruits at the end of the season...
