Re: Just got word... We were "told" about the NC on the way home from the SEC Championship in 2003. One of the directors made earrings out of sugar packets (hint, hint). I figured it might happen again and called up a buddy of mine.

Re: Just got word... 4 years ago, Sugar Bowl = National Championship. Last year was the first year with a separate championship game.
Re: Just got word... ... i know. that's why i would think that if the band is on the way home and the director is giving sugar packets then it would mean ... the sugar bowl... because you know... we won the sec title and knew that we were going to the sugar bowl... ahh the sound of chirping crickets.

I just heard from another band member who confirms they were told an hour ago they are going to the National Championship. I'm so excited to watch the announcement now!
