Moussaoui was a pissant wannabe who didn't even get his hands dirty on 9/11. This current bunch are the big dogs. al qaeda threw Moussaoui to the dogs. There is no comparing the 2.

good spin and excuse a terrorist is a terrorist.
propaganda is propaganda, no matter what the charges are. That is your concern, a platform for propaganda, right?

That and I'll be in NY about 5 times during that circus and getting around will be a bitch. I wouldn't put it past the ragheads to try and "make a statement" as well. But, if it makes Barry looks good to the enemy, I guess I can suck it up.

I tried to stay away from here but I have to respond to your post.
There is no way in hell I'd join the military in this country today with the way things are going, I have thought about this for quite some time.
You serve your country and you do one thing wrong, oh wait, that wasn't wrong a few years ago and now your life is over because of it!
I have great respect for the men and women in service and I wish them well!

there are alot of people who feel the same way about joining. To me and i may be way off, most of the people joining the military are from poor families, or they were part of a military family. There is no way in hell i would have ever joined, especially because 2 people were trying to recruit me and i sh!t you not, SGT. Slaughter, and Charles Barkley were 2 of the recruiters who wouldn't leave me alone when i got out of high school.

Maybe I should try and clarify things here...
My cousins joined the Air Force around 1984 and they wanted me to go with them.
I tried to go in the Air Force but it didn't work out for me and I was hell bent on being in the Air Force or bust.
The world was very different back then and I would have gladly served.

I wanted to do the Air Force as well. Then they told me I was never going to fly jets with my vision.

You forgot to add that Moussaoui was captured on American soil not in Afghanistan nor any foreign country. He had to be afforded a criminal trial because of that reason.
