I am not sure how I really feel about Orgeron yet but I did like his name drop of a good friend of my family Arthur Cantrelle at the beginning of his acceptance speech. Made me feel a little better about it for some reason.

Yep, I live in OS and met him at a bar a few years back. He's a good dude to drink a beer with and listen to his stories. Not sure if he still lives on the Coast or not.

I haven't heard from ole CS in a while. He grew up here and I believe his kids still live here with their mother, but I think he's in NOLA now.

I feel like there is a very good chance that he will do great things for the rest of the season.

To the point where letting him go vs who they end up hiring may prove to be the wrong move.

I don't know... I hope you are right. I had a front row seat here in Mississippi for his time as head coach at Ole Miss and was not impressed at all. I know it was a long time ago and maybe he has grown as a coach but he was out his depth back then. Just didn't seem to be head coach material but at the time, he had never even been a coordinator. Maybe it was just too soon, he seemed to do a better job at USC. I guess we shall see.

Oh, I see what you were asking now. We didn't meet him at the same time, but he did post the story of when he did a few years back.

First of all, Arthur Cantrelle is one of the sweetest men I know. Yea...don't fuck with him. But regardless of any story, the best story about Art is that he has a heART of GOLD! He is a wonderful person and the best father figure I've ever had (even though he's not my father) I love him with all my heart. ❤️
