I knew him a bit in middle school. Never talked to him much in high school tho. He went by Chad back then.

I played against Ryan Perrilloux in high school.

    We lost 65-28. :hihi:

Amazingly, we beat him my senior year 39-36 to cap off a 2-8 season.

Well...to our credit, Mealey never ran over any of us.....He never slowed down enough for us to get close to him! :hihi:

The year I played with Nicky Savoie and Eric Griffin ('93. Their Sr. years--my soph. year) we had to be the WORST talented team in 5-A!

Nicky, Eric and Ryan Thomassie ended up at LSU...
Tyler Lasseigne ended up as a 3-year starter at FB for Louisiana Tech...
David St. Marie was a 2 year starter at Center for La Tech after transferring from Northwestern St. where he was a starter as well...
Richard Burke was a starter at Safety for Northwestern St. for one year...
Jason Hamilton had a football scholarship to McNeese...
Jerome Eymard had a football scholarship to Nicholls St....
Charlie Wallace had football scholarships to Florida, Florida St., Miami, LSU and Michigan...a basketball scholarship to Nicholls I believe...but he turned all of those down to take the TRACK scholarship at La Tech?!?!
We also had Adrian Rios, Ricky Carmadelle and Ross Fullilove that had offers from Nicholls St. but none had plans on going to college...

All that talent and we freak'n finish 2-9.... :dis: ....sad....pathetic is more like it....

He went by Chad when I knew him as well...I just figured "Chad Wilson" might be too common of a name so I made sure to use Chadwick. :thumb:
