Ok, I went to Redemptorist in BR.

* Hi-C (Howard Carter) played on a state BB championship team
(RHS has 10 :thumb: ) with my brother.

* Derrick Taylor, another hoops stud, is from RHS.

* Gant Petty, current long snapper is another RHS grad.

* Rodney Guillot, starting left guard for the 1958 national champs.

I forgot, I played against kevin faulk. He was a probably the greatest player I played against besides Travis Minor.

 

I had one long brush with fame when I lived in Hammond. I referee basketball and often had to call games where Kim Mulkey's (Baylor Women's Coach) little brother Les played. He was like 7 years old but that little demon could play basketball. We'll catch him in the big league somewhere!!

My little brother played against W. Monroe when Andrew Whitworth was there. He played offense too, so they never went head to head, but I was happy to know that Whitworth was committed to LSU after I watched that big bastid pancake Moss Point's (MS) D-line time and again.

Nah. Just read the hometown newspaper all the time, and I have a nephew that plays there now. :hihi:

 

I went to hs with Shyrone Carey, Cameron Vaughn, Leo Deselle, Marlon Favorite, and Carlos Rachel (hes a wr). Skylar Green went to school like a mile from my hs. thats cool i guess.

 

How good is Marlon Favorite?
