You'll find an occasional fan from our past bowl games who found us at that time, and stayed for the good sports discussions. The game with Bama should be a lot of fun, for us. Bama has had some great defenses of late, with some trouble on offense. I expect saban and the new staff will be a step up, JPW will have matured, so Bama should be better next season. Our defense should be top flight. We need to replace both safeties and a def. end, but we can do it. No, there will not be another LaRon Landry, but there will be a good guy back there. On offense, I'm a little concerned. Russell, Bowe, and Craig Davis will be high draft picks, and it is not likely their replacements will be as good. I just hope the drop off is not too bad, and I don't think it will be. But you never can tell until you have 4 games under your belt, then we'll know what we have. Week 2 against Va. Tech will tell us a lot. We should be favored against Bama, but I know you guys will be sky high for us, and on your home field. If will be strenuously contested, I think we will prevail, but Bama has a shot if the stars align. We better go in ready to give it our best. :geauxtige
