That, and we actually spotted them the second touchdown with a momentary lapse of sucking. Does anyone know, of the games that Sanchez has started, the three last year mostly, as I know that Virginia sux, where he faced any amount of pressure? Hard to get a beat on how he'll handle it when it seemed like he was getting about 5-6 seconds at least to get the ball downfield. It will be a little harder for him on saturday night. I guarantee you that. I think people are singing the praises of someone who can obviously play, but hasn't really played under pressure. He's not palmer, leinart, or whomever you like to compare him to until he handles the big stage. Boeckman looked great last year through the first 7 or 8 games, until we played some tougher teams. I suspect there's a reason that Booty was still playing with his injured hand last year against STANFORD of all teams. Did Carroll not think that last year Sanchez was good enough to beat stanford so that he could rest Booty? Somewhat rhetorical, but i'm really looking for some information, as I don't really recall which games he played in last year, other than Notre Dame, and Arizona.
I think USC wins this game by 3 tds. First half will be close but after halftime USC's talent will begin to separate itself. OSU's passing game just isn't good enough to keep up with USC and OSU isn't going to just line up and run it down the Trojans' throats. I watched in the 07 MNC game a OSU passing game get overwhelmed when the pressure was brought. OSU's qb doesn't look to be that great of a passer. I expect the same kind of pressure to be brought from the USC defense. First half close due to emotions and adrenaline but the talent of USC will eventually begin to show. 38-17 USC.
USC is gonna slap this team around in their own house! I'm surprised at this kind of post from someone who claims to know FB. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll see Saturday. USC by an easy 14-21 points, same as LSU whipped them.
