Alabama has a very good team but doesn't deserve to be the National Champion with one win. As far as I'm concerned a win over LSU would still leave them at #2 when you compare their entire season accomplishments. Hopefully the voters will reward the team which earned their way to the title NOT someone who failed to win their division, who lost their most important game (on their home field), who failed to play in their conference championship, and who sat home resting players while LSU and Oklahoma State were still playing important games. Rewarding Alabama with a chance at a title is ridiculous. I would prefer beating Alabama over Oklahoma State but would like the opportunity to defeat another conference champion. LSU has done everything right and has earned a chance to defeat the best from another (Pac-12, SEC, Big East, Big 12) conference. We shouldn't have to prove ourself again. If Alabama plays...they should have to beat us twice.
No doubt they were paid. That's why they didn't do the telecast tonight. They were fearful of a night like this.
Saying as ESPN has the rights to air SEC games, I bet they have a vested interest in the SEC winning every year. Two SEC teams, even better.
If games played during the season mean anything, Bama should be out. They didn't take care of buisiness. The knew what was at stake. They didn't win their division. They did not earn their way into the conference championship game. They do not deserve a chance to play in the BCS NC game. ldskule:
