    Amusing but....

Brady's teams tend to finish the regular season quite strongly.

As opposed to just sounding sour... Steve Alford has been at Iowa for 6 years now. Trust me, The Hawkeyes and the State of Iowa were elated when he was hired.
In his very first game, he beat defending champ UCONN... it ws the highlight of our year that year. It happens just about every year with Steve. Last year in Maui we beat both Louisville and Texas... and gave UNC all they could handle until they pulled away in the last four minutes, only to barely make the NCAA that spring.

    Alford's accomplishments at Iowa:

NCAA appearances: twice in 6 yrs. with a 1-2 record. B10 record: 44-51 for a 0.427 win percentage and average finish of around 7th(high 4th - low 8th(3times)). However, he does win the player shoot-around contest evey year.

His main problem... he has a hard time recruiting (perhaps relating)to the innercity talent in either Chicago or St. Louis. And that is the kiss of death.
