We went back to Wichita Falls this weekend for the 4th year of the Cajun Fest. We served about 1000 servings of Gumbo and Jambalaya. They're catching on. Still, I can't tell you how many times I got the question "What's the difference" talking about the 2 different dishes. Second most asked question, "Which one's better?". :rolleye33:

:rofl: That's pretty much what I said. I just had to be "nice" about it so they would buy it. After expenses, we cleared about 3 grand, so I'll put up with them
Now for the fun stuff. We took Mardis Gras beads with us left over from Endymion. Lisa was giving them away. A friend who has a 7 year old wanted to help, so Lisa put her in charge of the beads. Very quickly, she started selling them! Before you knew it, we had a line at the beads station of people wanting to buy beads. 3 strands for a dollar and we sold 5 of the fiberglass bags of em!
