I don’t want to play any team while missing 20 players and having our punter as our backup QB. That’s just idiotic. I don’t want the game canceled, I want it rescheduled though. Also, I know it sounds soft, but people are overlooking the importance of not having a long snapper. How the hell do you get the ball to your punter? Can you imagine the shit show of bad snaps on punts giving the opposing team excellent field position? Or a botched snap on an important FG or extra point? Here's an excerpt from an article I read: "The SEC requires teams to have at least 53 scholarship players available, less than that and the scheduled game cannot be played." It appears as though whether or not the game is played is determined by the number of scholarship players we have available. What's the deadline for determining that? If I were to take a WAG I would say sometimes Thursday.
