sorry...forgot to post my prediction in my original post. it has changed some since TigerEducated will be watching the game. LSU 100 Ole Miss 13 If TE was not watching... LSU 45 Ole Miss 13 And for JohnnyReb..... LSU 1,000,000 Ole Miss 13
I think that OM will come out like UF did and run the no huddle offense to reduce the number of blitzes. They have had two weeks to prepare, so don't be surprised if they do that. Therefore, one of the keys to the game is how will LSU adjust to this.
Keys to the game............ OK LSU's defense is confused throughout the game by Eli's reads, We run when they think we're going to pass and we pass they they think we're going to run. We do not use screens and slip screens as they expect but throw downfield to open recievers. Ole Miss contains the Tiger running game, putting them in 2nd and 3rd and long situations. Our defense puts enough pressure on Mauck to force several bad passes, in a big game he is not ready for. The whole LSU team loses focus because they were told by their coach that this is just another game. Final Score ------- Miss. 24 ----------------- LSU 13
I appreciate your count - counterpoint post. You have your opinion and I have mine, that's why I think it's a good idea to go ahead and play the game. Maybe you'll win, maybe we'll win, maybe it will end end in a tie .................... after 14 overtimes and neither team can go on or CBS has to switch to the latest rebrodcast of Hiedi.
I'm glad your able to amuse yourself. Your going to need that quality tomorrow night. Go do your stump jumping and make your crow meat pie, I hope you enjoy it.
A lot of people don't understand that simple fact and think the point spread actually reflects how the bookies think the actual margin of victory will turn out. The Pros might really believe that LSU will win by 17 to 25 but if they set the line at 17 a lot more bettors will bet on OM and take the spread and if OM covers they will lose their ass. At 6 1/2 they get equal action on both sides and no matter who wins they collect the 10% juice from the losers. Lets say that a bookie takes $10 million on LSU and $10 million on Ole Miss. LSU wins by 50. The bookie collects $11 million from the losing bettors and pays $10 million to the winners. He keeps $1 million for himself. The million dollar figure is just an example. A small time bookie might make a couple of grand. Really big operators make a lot more than a million.
Go to Vegas tonight, lay the 61/2 and bet your house. Please your going to lose the chance to win a sure thing if you don't go right now. Get packing, get on that plane. Go!
Go put your trailer note on Mississippi, loser. And remember to brush that tooth before you go to bed.
