Yeah, but that body was all broken, corrupted, scarred, disfigured and such. Anakin was pure and noble and not corrupt as a youth.
Considering the wealth of Naboo, and its relative proximity to the sector containing Tatooine, what stopped Queen Amidala from dispatching her agents to purchase the freedom of Anakin's mother? Indeed, why didn't the Jedi council purchase her freedom to relieve Anakin of the guilt and fear that later manifested itself and made him susceptible to the Dark Side? Did they feel no obligation at all to the one who provided the Chosen One? Some kind of immense moral failure occurred here.
because they made a massive mistake. They really should have never taken Anakin. In the Old Republic the children left their families at a very young age to train and join the Jedi. They are supposed to break with the birth family to temper that emotional link. Anakin was too old and too attached to his mom already. The jedi order never seems to concern themselves with the families after the children join the order.
