sorry man. it hurt me to watch it, and i am not even really a fan, just a guy who would have been amused to see USC get busted. hope to see you guys next year battling for the crystal trophy. boomer sooner.
you guys are actually more justified to argue that you are champions than usc. except that they had zero justification. the fact remains, if you do not have the crystal ball, you are not the champ, co champs, or champs of any kind. it sucks, and they system screwed you guys, but thats the way it is. at least aubburn can say they went undefeated playing a tough season, which is a hell of a lot more admirable that what USC did last year.
USC-OK. . . the game EVERYBODY wanted to see I couldn't keep my eyes open. Started in the 2nd quarter and hit hard after the 1st USC TD of the 2nd half.
USC was not UN-beatable last night. Did they look good...Sure they did. But ole miss would look good if they picked up 4 turnovers in the first half. None of the turnovers were really forced by USCs defense, they were basically gifts from OU. Here take the ball on the 5, here take it on the 10, here take it on the.....oh well you get the picture. Had OU not gift wrapped 28 points and handed them to USC, they may have had the grit to keep playing. Unfortunatlely, they decided to lay down when the score was 21-7. JMHO
