In addition to Muschamp, we are also getting a new LB Coach that a lot of you will remember........ James Willis, former outstanding LB at Auburn and the pros.Hopefully these changes will shore up a defense that kind of fell apart at season's end, except for the first half of the bama game.

No more of a traitor than when he worked for LSU. You obviously don't understand this business.

    Q?: Denial?
A : I didn't see it as a logical move. To go from a DC in the NFL back to the college ranks isn't something that makes sense. It isn't a move you see often, if at all. Can you name a DC who left college, was in the NFL for 1 season, and then moved back to the college ranks. I'd bet, although I don't have the $ figures in front of me, that he's taking a pay cut.

If you'll notice, I'm not one who sits around and says things about other coaches on public forums. Well, I have told what the story was about Croom and Bama but that's a different story in itself since that thread was about Croom.

I've said Muschamp was a good coach for years now. But, I haven't said that the credit belonged to your former coach. Muschamp came up under Oliver...who is one of the best defensive minds in college football...and that isn't disrespect towards NS. He's a good one as well.

I know, but once you coach at LSU, THE LSU, and switch over to a rival... man... that irks me....

And thanks for the red, by the way...

Quote of the day from Finebaum:

"Tuberville loses a coach to the Kansas City Chiefs and replaces him with one from the Miami Dolphins. Shula loses a coach to Rice and replaces him with one from Vandy." :D

You'll have to stand in line because Muschamp is an UGA alum.... Imagine how you would feel if Dunbar remainded in college but coached at Auburn or UGA???

Coach Searls played for Auburn! for crying out loud! You don't hear them yelling "traitor"....

I guess we'll quickly see exactly how much Muschamp really had a play in the defensive calls/gameplan when he was here.....
