Harry meh. LBJ failed in some ways but he tried big things and accomplished most of what he attempted. He was a legislative giant who got more through congress in 5+ years than FDR did in 12. He is the true father of getting African Americans their civil rights and breaking the back of the discrimination laws. In spite of the fact I see his welfare changes as ultimately destructive he should get credit for his efforts.
Only in Vietnam was he a true failure but if you read history JFK got us started over the objections of the military and by 1963 realized it was a no win proposition but admitted there was no way out even then. So LBJ wasn’t alone

BTW I didn’t consider any presidents prior to Wilson as the dynamic was totally different.

"The federal judge assigned to the criminal case against Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller to turn over any "exculpatory evidence" to Flynn's defense team.

Oddly, however, Flynn's legal team did not make this request. Instead, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan issued the order "sua sponte," or at his discretion, invoking the "Brady Rule" - which requires prosecutors to turn over previously unfiled evidence that might have a material impact on a defendant's case. Interestingly, two days before the order Mueller filed a motion for an agreed-upon protective order regarding the use of evidence in the case, including "sensitive materials," provided to Flynn's lawyers by the office of the Special Counsel....

As The Hill notes, Sullivan dinged federal prosecutors in the trial of former Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) for misconduct in failing to turn over exculpatory evidence.

The development has generated a significant buzz in conservative circles, with the implication being that perhaps Flynn might not have pleaded guilty in light of certain evidence.

Judge Andrew Napolitano addressed Sullivan's decision on Tuesday, saying The judge on his own, not in response to any application from General Flynns lawyers says, "By the way, I want all exculpatory evidence, evidence that could help Flynn or hurt the government turned over to Flynns lawyers."

    And there's always this....

"The lawyer representing a former FBI informant demanded Wednesday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions open an investigation into unauthorized and falsified leaks to the media by “anonymous federal officials.” The informant’s lawyer said the leakers disparaged her client in an effort to silence him from providing testimony to Congress regarding his role in exposing Russia’s long-term strategy to dominate the global uranium market and how Moscow achieved its goal in 2010 of obtaining roughly 20 percent of the U.S. uranium mining industry, according to a letter delivered to the DOJ.

Victoria Toensing is the attorney for William Douglas Campbell, the FBI informant who is providing Congress with troves of documentation he gathered, saved and turned over to the FBI during the nearly six years he worked as an undercover FBI asset when he was a contractor in Russia’s nuclear and energy field. She has also asked Sessions to investigate a December 15 briefing given by “senior officials” to the Senate Judiciary and House Intelligence and Oversight committees “with the same false information that was leaked anonymously to the media and later refuted by the Justice Department,”

Kiki take a look at Trump’s business record. Just about every time he faces true competition he fails. How many of his projects went bankrupt? How many contractors and workers has he stiffed to save his ass? He’s not a capitalist but a croneyist. He also has been more successful at being famous.
He does have MUCH BETTER understanding and gives a damn about business than Obama, Bill or HRC. They and too many othersare the sucubi of our country. They have used their political connections to siphon money to themselves rather than build something.
