MSU a little bit better – Auburn is SEC Champ and West Virginia is the NC

We're not talking about who returns who. You said if WVU goes unbeaten this year, they deserve a MNC shot because of how well they played UGA year BEFORE last.

 

You misunderstood ( or I said it wrong) what my intent was...

They deserve the recognition they are receiving right now based on who they are returning along with what those players accomplished last year and the year before last.

Not sure what a Jan '06 Bowl game has to do with a MNC appearance this year.

 

The point was they have proven they can play with the "big boys" and do well. Same with BSU.

 

So because 2 years ago, they beat a "big boy" team, then they deserve a title shot for going un-beaten playing a mid-major schedule?

 

Same players. Same staff. Same scheme. Why not?

 

Because the '06 bowl season is about as relevant to the upcoming season as what color underwear I have on right now.

WV finished the "'06 Bowl season" ranked #5, last year finished #11, and this year, preseason ranking of #3.......think it speaks to a program's consistency li bro. :thumb:
