    :hihi:

I thought I've heard that Obama hasn't been on her show since he declared that he was in the running. Sure, Oprah has backed Obama, but not on her show since Obama declared. LOL, like I care... Strange thing to argue.

I know some people will perceive this as unfair, and it is clear who Oprah backs, but I don't think it is a fair argument to say she is using her program to push Obama and bar Palin. She may be using her celebrity...

And really, I don't care too much either way. I just don't like to see people skew a subject if I think they are off base.

I don't think she uses her show for those reasons either(though I don't watch it), but her women fans feel that two women running for prez/vice prez were important enough to talk about and have on her show. They seem to be upset about it.

Explaining to women why they should not be upset, has never worked for me.

Dude, perhaps you should start your own women's talk show and then you can have it your way.

I would if I knew I could get away football talk, home demolition, and squaring their little sh!t kids away. I would have Nootch, Salty, SabanFan and YOU on for dial a date.

I will then be glad to answer to the request from my destinguish fan corps. After all they are the ones responsible for my glorious magazine which pimps their cause along with plenty of Campbell soup type adds.

I think the chicks would dig it.

My first guests would be you and Sabanfan and I would be canceled in the first ten minutes!

You couldn't discredit my response to your statement because you know its the truth.
While we're at it I'm no different than you.
I find you divisive and extremely partison but the difference between me and everyone else I've called that is that I have criticized my own party and president as well as the other side.
I haven't seen any statements criticizing the left from you, Houtiger and that speaks volumes about your creditability.
(talking about democrat policies here or the lack of ability to get anything done for 2 years)
The Democrats have been the majority party in Congress for 2 years now and their ratings are the worst in history.

I should throw Red in there as well.
He made a half hearted attempt to criticize the left but all he really did is name a few names without giving any reasons for them.
The comment about Nancy Pelosi has to change her stance on oil drilling?
Give me a break, thats really a tough stance or disagreement.
Just a half hearted attempt to disprove my theory.

We had this discussion already. I pointed out my post of criticism of the left a couple of times. You just choose to ignore it and how much credibility do you want on a message board full of opinions? Also, there was no reason for me to discredit your response, we were discussing media bias, but you went in overdrive to paint a million networks for Obama, when thats just isnt true. MSNBC (yes of course) CNN and CBS, not at all.

Yea just like your half-hearted criticism of George Bush, thats like shooting fish in a barrel, come up with some extensive criticism of your party. Which was my point of you accusing people here of the same kinda tactics that you use.

Thats the essence of debate you and whoever argues different view points, therefore you will be biased to your side of the debate. It doesnt make sense to criticize someone for not doing your part of the debate and or agreeing with your criticism of their argument.

    This says volumes right here.
I didn't have to go into overdrive, CBS, NBC and ABC did that for me when they all followed Obama overseas to report nightly and accompany him while trying to interview him.
We were talking about balanced journalism here.

If the networks you speak were balanced they would've gave McCain and the Republicans the same treatment as they gave Obama.

When was the last time 3 news anchors followed a president much less a candidate around the world?

Let me see if I understand you correctly?
You are saying they aren't in his camp and they are balanced networks?
