I really don't know about what Oprah does or does not do, but I think she made a choice to not make her show political. She hasn't had Obama on since he declared his intention to be president and I don't see that not having Palin on during the election is any different. Whether she has Palin on after the election, I don't care, but if she is trying to keep her talk show politically neutral, how can you fault her for that?

Sometimes she is, sometimes she isn't... or so I've heard. I haven't watched Oprah in about 10 or 15 years.

Oprah farts into a mason jar and ladies across the planet will start canning farts too.

Obama was on her show twice 2005 and 2006, Palin denied period. It is preeeeeeety obvious who Oprah cheers for, on or off her show, SAME AS MATHEWS AND OLBERMANN!

Whats the difference between that and the people on Fox News who are in McCains cheering section(Hannity and others). If we are going to be fair about being fair, they call themselves a balanced journalistic news program, what you guys are debating is far from journalistic news programs. I get the point with Matthews and Olbermann, but take Oprah with a grain a salt. Or you will have to scrutinize Murdoch and a few other moguls in that arena

Fair enough when you consider CBS, ABC, NBC are pro-Obama.
I mean, C'mon, their anchors went overseas and practically bowed down to worship Obama on a nightly bases as he visited Iraq, Germany and anywhere else he went.
All these networks also act as if they are balanced, journalistic news programs also.

I don't watch CNN but I bet that lean to Obama also not to mention the crap on MS NBC, that is sickening, bias to the left.

Well sure you can add a thousand others as well. My one comparison to Mathews and Olbermann was Oprah. If you had a pay per view with the am edition of Mathews and Olbermann jumping off Hoover dam and Oprah on the pm edition, who is going to get more revenue from the pay per views? Add the other thousand to the boys camp and Oprah still wins!

Oprah is gonna get paid all day long for doing stupid animal tricks. The others are a pass time.

That is valid reasoning and true it was before Obama declared(like it was in doubt?), but she has also had his wife on afterwards. Refusing to bring on Hillary, and now Palin are strange things for the average woman to understand. The very people that support Oprah vehemently. Some people see it as political, and some just see it as the advancement of women. Many think that alone should be sufficient to have them on. Oprah doesn't agree and is losing some viewers because of it.

Probably not a big deal anyway. So she can only buy five third world countries this year for Christmas instead of the usual seven? I think her worth is in the billions. That should keep her in butter brickle for awhile.
